Town North Mazda Partner Programs

Introduction:
The Mazda New Vehicle Purchase Plan is offered by Mazda North American Operations to encourage MNAO employees, retirees, their families and Mazda’s business partners to drive new Mazda products. Vehicles may be purchased or leased from participating “franchised” Mazda Dealers authorized by the Mazda Dealer Agreement. Town North Mazda is an authorized partner dealer.

Mazda’s New Vehicle Purchase Plan is actually made up of two plans: the Employee Plan (E-Plan) and the Supplier Plan (S-Plan).

The E-Plan is for MNAO employees and immediate family members. The S-Plan is for approved Mazda suppliers and certain individuals sponsored by an MNAO employee.

Eligibility:

Who is eligible for the S-Plan?

Employees of suppliers on an approved supplier list. Consult Town North Mazda for supplier eligibility.

Individuals who are enrolled in the Mazda co-op program whether they are working or at school.

Supplemental employees and nonemployees, including contract personnel.
MNAO employees may sponsor up to two individuals for vehicle purchases per year. These people can be potential purchasers or owners of competitive products, or other family members not mentioned under S-Plan eligibility, including, but not limited to:

-> grandchildren
-> nephews
-> nieces
-> aunts
-> uncles
-> cousins

Who is Not eligible for the S-Plan?

Employees who terminate, effective with the date of termination.
Family members of surviving spouses after the surviving spouse is deceased.
All others not specifically mentioned as eligible in the preceding section.

NOTE: Employees, retirees, and surviving spouses may be asked to Document the eligibility of family members they sponsor. Submission of birth certificates, marriage licenses, etc., may be required. Failure to provide adequate documentation may result in suspension of the of the sponsor’s plan privilege.

Products:

What products are available under the S-Plan?

Up to two new, current model and prior model years vehicles sold in the United States may be purchased or leased each calendar year.

Vehicles may be ordered from production or may be selected from the inventory of the dealership, if the dealer agrees. Dealers are not required to participate, but if they do, they must be an authorized Mazda Dealer for the product sold and agree to abide by the New Vehicle Purchase Plan guidelines set forth in this document.

Optional equipment installed by the dealership and aftermarket services provided by the dealership are not covered under the New Vehicle Purchase Plan. The dealership may charge any agreed-upon price for these items. Dealer-installed equipment or services must be individually listed and priced separately on the buyer’s order.

What products are Not available under the S-Plan?

Used vehicles.

Products sold under any other company plan.

Mazda demonstrators and lease vehicles and any other vehicle put in service for company use.

Any model that Mazda North American Operations may restrict under the S-Plan.

Registration, Purchase, & Delivery:

How does a qualified S-Plan participant get a vehicle?

To participate in the S-Plan, the participant must obtain a PIN. To request a PIN:

1. Go to www.mazdausa.com/splan to access the S-Plan Introductory page. Follow the instructions on the page to link to the PIN request form. Consult Town North Mazda for assistance, if needed.

2. Complete all required fields as indicated on the form. Click the button at the bottom of the form to submit your PIN request. Suppliers will need to enter their supplier code to process the PIN request.

3. The PIN certificate displays your PIN and personal information. Click the print button to print this page.

4. Take your printed PIN certificate with you when you visit the dealership.

The participant now can go to a dealership and select the vehicle(s) of interest.

The participant should immediately identify himself/herself to the dealer as being eligible for the S-Plan and present a copy of the printed PIN certificate to the dealer. This ensures the proper S-Plan price will be given to the participant. The S-Plan price is located on the left side of the vehicle invoice. The price is before tax, title, license, and applicable incentive(s)/rebate(s) from Mazda Motors.

What about trade-in, financing, and insurance?

Trade-in allowance is not covered by the New Vehicle Purchase Plan and must be negotiated with the dealers.

Financing may be obtained at the customer’s discretion from any source.

Noneligible family members may appear as cosigners or comakers of the loan or other financing agreement.

Plan customers are required to provide their own liability and collision insurance for both purchases and leases.

When does delivery take place?

Delivery takes place immediately once cash or financing is approved and verified.

Conditions:

The use of brokers or “bird dogs” is not allowed.

Commerical transactions are not allowed unless an eligible participant is a cosigner, comaker, or guarantor.

Pricing:

The S-Plan price is printed on the factory invoice. The dealer is required to provide the customer with a copy of the factory invoice showing the New Vehicle Purchase Plan price.

The dealership may charge any price negotiated between the dealer and the customer for dealer-installed options/ equipment, extended service contracts, and any other items or services that add value to the vehicle. These such items must be priced and listed separately on the retail buyer’s order.

Prices established by the New Vehicle Purchase Plan are nonnegotiable.

The participant is responsible for all federal/state/local taxes, license, and title fees.

The dealership may require the New Vehicle Purchase Plan customer to make a deposit when placing a vehicle order. The dealership may retain some or all of this deposit if the customer declines to accept delivery of the ordered product. An agreement in writing should be reached with the dealership concerning the amount of the deposit and the conditions under which the dealership may retain it if the transaction is not completed.

Dealer obligations:

Participating dealerships agree to comply with all terms outlined in this document. Authorized Mazda dealerships are encouraged, but not obligated, to participate in the New Vehicle Purchase Plan.

Dealerships must be authorized dealers for the product being sold.

The dealer is responsible for validating the New Vehicle Purchase Plan PIN provided by the customer at the time of purchase.

A copy of the factory invoice must be given to the customer. The dealer retains the original copy for future audits.
