You’ll often find a considerable difference between the MSRP and what a dealer is asking, but that’s normal. All you need to do is follow these tips to ensure you get the best financing package possible:

• Research what other drivers have paid for the same model in your area. You can use sites like Edmunds and Kelley Blue Book to make that easier.
• Start negotiating with your chosen dealerships at a number below the MSRP, then work up.
