The year was 1920, when in Hiroshima, Japan, the Mazda Motor Corporation was born. Started as a three-wheeled motorcycle manufacturer making “Autorickshaws”, Mazda found success with this form of transportation into 1930s. By 1940, Mazda had created its first passenger vehicle but was still only known for its three-wheeled carts.
