MAZDA Earns Eight 2026 IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK+ Awards for Its MAZDA Safety Features

For the third consecutive year, Mazda has received more TOP SAFETY PICK+ Awards than any automaker from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK+ Award Criteria

The IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK+ Award is given to vehicles that meet a specific set of criteria. Eligible vehicles must receive “good” ratings for the small overlap crash test, the updated side crash test, and the updated moderate overlap crash test. They must also have “good” pedestrian front-crash prevention across all trims and “acceptable” or “good” vehicle-to-vehicle front-crash prevention and headlights.
